چکیده
PAHs are widely distributed in the environment and pose a serious threat to ecological security human health. The P&A (Pseudomonas aeruginosa Alcaligenes faecalis) bacterium consortium obtained this study comes from oily sludge is reused for degradation of mixture sludge. Few articles pay attention reuse its degradation. solution efficient bacterial under different environmental conditions, bioaugmentations, exogenous stimulations were studied by ultraviolet visible spectrophotometer gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. result shows that, after 8 days 35 °C, pH 7, with 5% (volume percent) inoculation amount, rate NAP, PHE, PYR could higher than 90%, 80%, 70%, respectively. additional crude oil further improve efficiency. minimum inhibitory concentration Cu2+, Zn2+, Pb2+ 2.002, 17.388, 9.435 mM, addition surfactants had negative or limited positive effect on rate. Furthermore, average rates PYR, local petroleum polluted area consortium, all reach above 80%. Biodegradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Petroleum Contaminated Soils
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are a class of potentially hazardous chemicals of environmental and health concern. PAHs are one of the most prevalent groups of contaminants found in soil. Biodegradation of complex hydrocarbon usually requires the cooperation of more than single specie. In this research biotreatment of PAH (phenanthrene) was studied in a solid-phase reactor using indigenou...
متن کاملStudy of Excited States of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) have been used as graphene’s model of electronic structure characterization [1]. Since the initial graphene experiments, it has been used in several areas, such as sensors manufactory, organic semiconductors, spintronic and non-liner optics and the study of its electronic structure is very important for these applications [2]. Therefore, the characterizat...
متن کاملAnaerobic degradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are among the most important contaminants of groundwater. The 2- and 3-ring PAHs are of particular concern because they are water soluble in the 1-200 mug/l range and are transported with the groundwater over significant distances. Anaerobic degradation of PAH has been demonstrated in several microcosm studies with nitrate, ferric iron, or sulfate as elec...
متن کاملMicrobial metabolism of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons: isolation and characterization of a pyrene-degrading bacterium.
Microbiological analyses of sediments located near a point source for petrogenic chemicals resulted in the isolation of a pyrene-mineralizing bacterium. This isolate was identified as a Mycobacterium sp. on the basis of its cellular and colony morphology, gram-positive and strong acid-fast reactions, diagnostic biochemical tests, 66.6% G + C content of the DNA, and high-molecular-weight mycolic...
